Secluded Hill Country Livin'
Our ranch is located about an hour outside of San Antonio in the southwestern Hill Country about 20-miles from Hondo and 25-minutes from Bandera.
Less than 10-miles away is the “city” of Tarpley, famous for its one restaurant – “Mac & Ernies” featured on the first episode of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives (and subsequent episodes). The Hill Country State Natural Area is just a few miles west and offers great hiking and biking trails.
Take a scenic drive to Lost Maples State Park or to the small towns of Bandera, Utopia, and Vanderpool. You’ll find a few great restaurants, antique shops, rivers, and some fun events nearby.
